Welcome, all Young Explorers!
We are excited to announce the launch of Oregon Aquarium’s Oceanscape Network, an online community for youth, teachers and the Aquarium to promote marine conservation, scientific inquiry and a sense of stewardship for our planet’s oceans. Part resource (think interactive encyclopedia of all things ocean), part homework tool (students can submit their own scientific inquiries for teacher review), part experiential app (like wildlife spotting and geocaching), the Oceanscape Network is aimed at encouraging youth to head outdoors, to explore, experience and appreciate aquatic habitats and their surrounding environments.
