Our design team recently deployed a new interface for their search results, which allows their customers to research, save, and compare trips that they’re evaluating for their dream vacation.

We’ve relaunched our Ruby on Rails Code Audit service as a new flat-rate package, which we’re now calling the 8-Hour Rails Code Audit. You can receive eight hours of development time, which consists of a seven hours of review and documentation by one of our experienced developers plus an hour long follow-up phone conference (or in-person meeting if you’re local).
This new service can be an excellent tool to help your business outline an improvement strategy and roadmap for your existing Ruby on Rails application.

Earlier this week, our team accepted a proposal from Blue Box Group, a Ruby on Rails hosting company based out of Tacoma, Washington. With this partnership, Blue Box Group has acquired our hosting product, Rails Boxcar. For more information about the acquisition, read the joint press release.

Partner and Chief Evangelist, Robby Russell, will be speaking at Rails Underground in London, which takes place July 24-25th, 2009. Be sure to catch Robby speak at the conference on the topic of launching Ruby on Rails applications. He will be walking the audience through the Planet Argon team’s Project Launch checklist, which has evolved through several years of designing, developing, and deploying web applications. Robby will share his experiences and outline a collection of best practices such as; keeping your project releasable at all times, managing staging and production environments, bootstrapping your application for SEO and analytics/conversion tracking, preparing for the unexpected, and most importantly… making sure your clients are ready for the bumpy ride.
