Webvisions 2013 Post 2 - More Sketchnotes from the Conference
Reading time: Less than a minute
Back at the end of May, I went to the 2013 Webvisions Conference. I had decided that I would use the conference as an opportunity to take some “Sketchnotes” and post them to the blog as my contribution of what I learned at WVs this year. My sketchnote post last month was on “The Art of Explanation by Lee LeFever”. This month, I have 2 new sketch notes that I have uploaded.
Bill Scott – The Anti-Patterns that Stifle Lean UX Teams
I found this talk very interesting as I had been reading a little on the Lean UX Process, and this added to my knowledge on issues that may pop up when using this method. It seemed that these “Anti-Pattterns” were aimed directly at lean UX teams, but I found that it was also provided insight and advice into collaboration methods of technology and design agencies that aren’t using the lean method.

Leslie Bradshaw – The Future of the Web is Video
This presentation was the keynote talk of the very first day at Webvisions. It was a good way to start off the conference. I found it informational and compelling, and it brought up a lot of stats on video that i was not aware of. Her talk stressed the dominant presence of video on the web, as well as where it is going and what it most likely will evolve to in the near future.
